The Smalcald Articles on Librivox

This summary of Lutheran doctrine was written by Martin Luther in 1537 for a meeting of the Schmalkaldic League of German princes. While the Augsburg Confession was the first, concise confession to be adopted by the Lutheran Church, the Smalcald Articles hold a special place in that they were composed by Luther's own hand and, therefore, reflect his accents and frame of mind.

Now, for the first time, they are available in audio format at Librivox.org so that they can be heard and digested while exercizing, driving or working.  The Smalcald Articles join other documents of the Book of Concord which are also available on Librivox: The Ecumenical Creeds, The Augsburg Confession, Luther's Small Catechism and Luther's Large Catechism.
